
Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican American actress. Her first film role was Miss Bala, a Mexican crime-drama film. She also appeared in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman was a major character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both of the series. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico as the daughter of a Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. Through her father Sigman, she is an U.S. citizen. Her brother who is a the baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was previously engaged to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career as a TV actress on Mexican television, before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. She was the lead character in Laura Guerrero (Miss Bala) in the Mexican crime-drama. 6. The Mexican entry in the category of Best Foreign Language Film was chosen at the 84th Academy Awards.
