Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk - a talented actor who is also a director, writer and producer. Her father is from Britain as does her mother, who is an "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's first memories involve attending rehearsals for plays and observing her mother at her job. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements when she was a child. In November 1999, Anna moved to Toronto to advance her acting career. She eventually making the move into Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They became engaged in 2009 when they were married. Anna became a Jew in 2011 after converting to Judaism.
